TheRavenXTusesyourcellularproviderasanISP(Internet
ServiceProvider)toconnectyoutotheInternet.
Steps of a connection:
1. WhenyourRavenXTispoweredon,itautomatically
searchesforcellularserviceusingCDMA.
2. YourRavenXTestablishesaPPP(PointtoPointProtocol
or“dial”upconnection)linktotheyourcellularprovider
network,alsocalledregisteringonthenetwork,and
receivesanIPaddress.
3. WhenyourRavenXThasreceiveditsIPaddressfrom
yourcellularprovider,aconnectiontotheInternetorthe
cellularnetworkisalsoavailableforacomputerorother
deviceconnecteddirectlytotheRavenXT.
